Yesterday I saw a pop-up ad for Spyblocs, an anti-spyware download. It said it was free, so I started the process to install it. When I found out that it wasn't free after all, I cancelled, and went through the uninstall program feature of my Control Panel, but apparently I didn't get rid of all of their download, because now it's interfering with me doing things I need to do. I can't stay on Yahoo! for more than three seconds without being transferred to the About.blank search engine page; it even interferes with me running my old WordPerfect 4.2 program! Does anyone know any way I can get rid of this junk and get my system back to normal?

What's the OS?

You got infected with Spyware probably. Use Microsoft AntiSpyware and Spybot S&D to scan and fix your system. If these don't cut it, do a Hijack This and post here your results.

Hope this helps,

Erik
