Hi to all,

I tried to update the software revision of the SPU4 from R5B to R6A using CNBLI, CNBSI commands.
Yesterday the situation was:
001-2-20 SPU4 ROF1375430/1 R2A
CAA 158 0023 R6A EXET
but today after CNBIP command I see the following:

001-2-20 SPU4 ROF1375430/1 R2A
CAA 112 2909 R3A PAS
Any idea?

Thank you

you forgot to do cnbci command (confirm firmware)!

redo cnbli, then cnbsi and then cnbci

Hi whoserdaddy,

Is R6A of SPU4 ok with TSW sp2 or only with TSE?

Thanks

I have the following reply from the system when cnbci

CNBCI:BPOS=1-2-20;CNBCI:BPOS=1-2-20;
SURE? (YES/NO)
<Y FAULT FOUND DURING EXECUTION IN LIM 1
FAILED BPOS REASON
001-2-20 BOARD/IND STATE DOES NOT ALLOW OPERATION
END

R6A is ok
you need to follow the order correctly!
first CNBLI, then cnbsi (will show up EXET in cnbip) and then cnbci. if one of the steps fail, restart from beginning...

in fact R5B firmware is ok, R6A is ment to be loaded on SPU4/11 and is for new manufactured boards
