SPU4

Hi,

I have a SPU4 in my sparekit and want to use it, because of MEX.
What's the entire procedure to install a SPU4?
I checked ALEX but it's not clear to me.
Can anybody help me?

I left it alone for quiet some time but now it becomes current again.

Is just a simple cnhui really enough to let it work?
No worry about right LIM, its position in the magazin, timeslots, cabling and so on?

Please advice me.

the MD110 will detect there is an SPU4 and will use it for MEX...

Offcourse,
it is wise to progam the GEDII's in the same lim as the SPU4 (in order to avoid inter-lim traffic)

I tried 008-2-72 with same result.

Some relevant data:
On 008-2-70 is a ELU29
CXP1010111/2/BC12SP11/P8A
SPU4 ROF 137 5430/1 R2A

Any ideas?

Hi

SPU4 is a 32 Time slot board. You could not insert this baord in slot 73
