Hello, I have a terminally ill SPS2003 server that i can not do anything with. originally there was a mishap and it was improperly uninstalled (WSS was removed before SPS2003). I have tried everything i can think of to manually delete this server app to no avail. I have followed step by step MS articles 830326 and q295704. those seem to be the only help for my situation. i have even reinstalled WSS and tried uninstalling SPS then WSS and that did not work either. someone please help. i need to have it on this one server and don't have any spares to put it on! help!

SPS 2003 unable to uninstall despite many attempts

Yes a real joy to install / uninstall. Save the headaches and drop in the Win 2003 CD and format the bad boy, (if sharepoints all you have running on it). I'm sure there is a way but I dont know it.
Its a couple of hours compared to a few days scratching your head..
