I have a spreadsheet linked to an Access 2000 DB. This spreadsheet updates upon opening. I have a user that receives the following message when attempting to open the spreadsheet: "The Microsoft Jet Database engine cannot open the file {file location path} It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data." Could this be due to the user not having Access on the machine? I say that because a different user that has Access has no problem with the spreadsheet.
Thanks!
