Hi,

I have a question. I am having a problem with my printer. When I print something, sometimes there is little black specks on the front and the back of it. Sometimes it does like 5 or 6 pages in a row that way and sometimes it doesn't do it at all. I would like to know if it is my cart. or something inside the printer and what I can do to fix it quickly, as this is the main printer in my office and we need to use it a lot.

Thanks!

Do the same applications do it or is it vary random ?

If it's truly random (or seems to be) then it is probably
(though not certainly) in the printer. If it does it on
certain applications only, it may be a coding error in
pcl or whatever the application is using.

If you do not do or have the capability to print on both
sides of the page and it does it, that would make me think
it's a problem in the printer, with the cartridge or something else.

Sometimes these things are hard to pin down.

Hi,

It seems at random, but in all applications. I don't print on the back as that would require me to flip the paper when it is complete. Instead, on the way out there, is specks on the printed side, and specks on the non-printed side. Nay ideas?

Hi
I would check the transfer roller if is worn this could cause the problem. The other place to look is the fuser you can buy a laser cleaning paper this should clean the fuser.
I hopes this helps
