spot color bitmap with transparent background?

does anyone have experience with preparing a spot color / monotone bitmap with a transparent background that i can import into corel draw 10 and be able to change the spot color to whatever might be needed?

If monotone as in black and white 1 bit - select bitmap - right click for colour - left click no fill.
