Hello Everyone,

I am trying to get the init string for a Sportster 33.6 external modem that will allow it "accept" caller ID info. We are using an automated system to log incoming trouble calls from our various offices. If we can collect the caller ID info, then our on-call techs can know immediately what office is having the problems when they get paged. Right now, the system is ready "No data sent", when I have verified on my cell that caller ID info is going out. I have tried adding #CID=1 & #VCID=1 to the init string, but it has not worked so far. In fact, #VCID=1 completely hoses the modem, and it won't even answer a call. I would GREATLY appreciate any help that you can give me. Thanks
