I have a home office wireless network with a desktop and a laptop. For weeks now, I have noticed that email with our domain name is not being received at all or received days, weeks later. Our domain mail is forwarded from our website to us via Verizon. (I also have our website host forward that same mail to a Yahoo account. There is no problem with receiving all mail from the website host at the Yahoo account--almost instantly.) Verizon insists they're not the problem. Our web host tested for us and they're not the problem--mail leaves their server as we designated it. Today while at home, when I checked my email on my laptop, I had received NO email via Verizon. I walked over to the desktop (where my router is connected), checked the same email accounts and immediately there appeared over a dozen email messages via Verizon. All of those emails also showed up in the Yahoo account but none from Verizon had been available during the laptop connection. I've had the same problem when I've been out of town with my laptop, checked to find no email messages and arrived home to find dozens from the dates I was away. It's almost like "sometim4es" the email on server is only available via the desktop and not from the laptop. Anybody know why/what is going on? Is the Verizon server "confused" for some reason? Is my wireless network corrupted? Anybody know why/what is going on? Is my wireless network corrupted?
