When i go into my task manager and look at the processes running spoolsv.exe is always running. It takes up almost all of my computers virtual memeory which I belive is 720K. I was just wondering what the heck this is and way is it so active.

Spoolsv is Windows Spooler Service Subsystem. Any application that wants to print, goes to spool first and then Spoolsv will take an action.

In your system it takes 720K of VM. It's very small compared to my computer (2,450K). No need to worry it's all fine :)
