Can anyone help?

All of my connections to my printers have disappeared, and I am unable to view print preview in Excel or print at all. Often times my when I try to load certain applications (In house ERP app) the "spoolsv.exe" process keeps running taking up 50% of cpu resources.

Anybody experience any issue lately related to this process "spoolsv.exe"?

Sounds like you are having print spooler issues. Either your print spooler is corrupted, or the print spooler service is having trouble. Have you checked under services to see if your print spooler is running? Have you tried restarting your print spooler service to see if that helps?

Hello lhuegele,

Yes I have restarted my spooler service, and everything still runs slowly.

Shutdown your print spooler.
Then go to the task manager and see if you still have any spoolsv.exe processes running.
If you do, right-click on them and shutdown the full process tree for each one.
Restart your print spooler see if things still run slow.
