Hi

In VSE, EXEC CICS SPOOLOPEN RESUME is used to generate a resumable report which is created by a series of separate CICS tasks, each of which may append data to the report. a spool file cannot be shared among tasks, or across logical units of work in the same task. So, how do we replace SPOOLOPEN RESUME in mvs from dos/vse?
Does MVS support any equivalent functionality?

I am not aware of any equivalent of the RESUME option under CICS MVS.

What I am aware of is that as long as the SPOOL is still open and you know the tokenid, then you may continue to write to that spool. I have not tried it though.

Once after openning the spool, u will get token id. Pass the token id to different tasks and use it. At the end close the spool. This will work fine.
