We don't. I am not sure exactly what you mean by reset but these files should definitely NOT be deleted and cannot be edited. You can look at spool32.exe using Quick View but I do not know of any way to view your swap file. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.
[viewing] Fairly easy to do if you have a program that is capable of opening a file of this size. This file can reach hundreds of MB in size. Most users don't have the necessary programs on their computer. There are third party programs that will open it. [editing] Useless to attempt - because the file is in machine language and not readable by humans. It's dynamic so by the time you edit and replace it none of the pointers would be accurate. [delete] This is done from DOS before windows starts. If windows doesn't find the file it will recreate it. [reset] You can change the size in System Properties --not recomended unless you know exactly what you are doing. You can move it to a partition of its own to prevent fragmentation. Some users swear by this, but i've never seen any improvement from it. All in all you could waste a lot of time fooling with this and not gain anything for your efforts.
