Hi,

I have an office PC where she keeps experiencing Spool32.exe crashes whenever she prints to a network printer.

I've tried turning off the spooler by telling all jobs to print direct, not through spooler - but it still happens.

Is it possible to use System File Checker (sfc.exe) to reload spool32.exe from the Windows installation CD, in case it's corrupted and I need a new copy. I tried, but it forces me to tell it where spool32 is - and I don't know.

Can you help?

Regards,

Is the user in word when this happens? What application is the user using?

Hi,

Not in Word. She is printing from Opera 1 accounts package when it occurs, the only thing she uses that particular printer for (she has her own local HP Deskjet 960C).

Doesn't get the crashes when she prints to her Deskjet.

Can you help?

Regards,
Jay/UK
