is there anyway to tell if your e-mail address has been spoofed and if so can you stop it being used.
I've been getting some Non-Delivery reports on one of me e-mail addresses.
The message that is returned is on of these selling meds on the net, which obviously I've never sent.
I'm a little concerned now tht someone is using one of my addresses for their dodgy mails.
any ideas?

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by

The only way to tell IF you've been spoofed is when you realize you are being credited for emails you didn't send. Given the fact you HAVE been spoofed, about all I know of to do is wait it out. If it's too big a problem, you might want to change email accounts, and be extra tight giving it out in the future, which will cut down the risk, but not eliminate it entirely. You have my sympathy, been there, done that!

Just make absolutely sure that your machine is not being used as a zombie. Run several of faq760-3862 and make sure you have a firewall that is properly monitoring outgoing data.
