Once every few months, dozens of shortcuts appear on my server's desktop. The shortcuts are targeted at each icon that normally appears on the desktop. I have looked at the other desktop folders on the machine, and they don't have extra shortcuts. Once I delete the shortcuts, they don't appear again for several months. I don't experience any other symptoms.
