Hello,

We have a 9-lims system running on BC11 SP8. Sometimes all analog extensions in one specific lim are spontaneous ringing. We can solve the problem by restarting all ELU29 in the Lim. A restart of PU ELP6 doesn't help.

Does someone know a solid solution for his problem?

Does nobody seen this problem before??

Hope that somebody know anything!!

Hi, kings1!

1. What analog phones working on your system?

Old model of "Panasonic" with long hookflash? I'm right, see ASPAP:pARNUM=253; I have PARVAL=120 (600ms).

2. You have VoiceMail on system? If right, then user has message in mailbox.

3. Sorry, I don't have this problem on me system a long time. I don't know what I help you any more. ;-)

Hi

what revison of ELU-29 cards u have

is this an upgraded MD110

regards

Hello,

It's an upgrade MD110 from BC9 to BC11, but the lim's who have this problem are new consono's. The old /50 are replaced with the upgrade. The ELU29 have revision R9H. I don't know what kind of analog phone are used over there.

Hope you have enough info. If not let me know.

Hello everbody,

We have 1 lim BC 11(SP8) system. We have the same spontenously ringing problem. But it doesn't change according
to the firmware revisions of ELU-29 boards. Some of them are R8A and the others are R9H.This problem is not on the
specific boards. We have this on the all ELU-29 boards.not at
the same time. But some times 1 board sometimes 2 boards on the system can make this problem simultaneously.Swapping the boards doesn't help.

If anyone can share the solution. We will appreciate....

I do have the same problem with my system, 5 LIMs and sometimes 1 or 2 individuals of ELU29 will rong spontaneously, restarting the board will resolve the problem. I Do have Philips telephone sets, ELU29 R4C in my BC9.

I think you guys have the same problem as we had.
Probably u need to approach Ericsson guys near you, this usually happens with induction in the OSP and high traffic rate, the solution is a firmware change on ELU29's.

Are you sure that the your Equipment is propoerly grounded and OSP is not affected with in kind of induction and transient voltages???

regards

Hi!

Are you sure that you do NOT have MEW or MMW functionalty
on these phones?
The problem described above has NOTHING to do with the FW/SW, I mean that this is tested in the lab environment so many times that it is NOT possible! Also it has nothing to do with the RG board, - no way!!!! (the RG can not send sporadeuos ring to random pointer, eg. a phone!).
If everything seems to be OK, and no ALLIP or HIMDP is shown concerning this matter, then you have a mechanical
problem (task). Hope this answer helps you further.

On the knowledge base from ericsson is reported about this problem at the end of april. ELU29/11 R9H are affected with this problem and have to be downgraded to R8H.

You can order new eprom for the ELU29/11 on the knowledgebase from ericsson or contact your local service partner.

Hi
I face the Same Problem and by downgrade From R9H/11 to R8H, the Problem has been solved
