Spohos PureMessage on exchange 2007

Does anyone use this?

I'm having issues with it and not sure why.

Periodically I start seeing these errors in event viewer:

PureMessage store scanning has encountered an application error (details: 'Failed to initialize Sophos Anti-Virus Interface (SAVI). Please check your Sophos Anti-Virus installation.')

They continue until I reboot the server but it still seems to process emails normally.

Anyone else come accross anything like this?

I've upgraded to the most recent version but made no difference.

We too have this same error. Though in our case, after about an hour of the error occurring, our exchange 07 server stopped relaying emails in its queue until I rebooted.

I was wondering if you ever figured out what the problem was. We are also on Exchange 07 on Server 03, with PureMessage version 3.0.1.0 and spam engine 2.6.1

Did you also get the thousands of error messages saying:

PureMessage store scanning has encountered an application error (details: 'Failed to initialize Sophos Anti-Virus Interface (SAVI). Please check your Sophos Anti-Virus installation.

Our problem is still not resolved yet!

There was a work around for the error mentioned above but I think it was resolved in 3.0.2. We logged a support case with Sophos and have been told we need to upgrade to the new version. The probem is we need to install SP1 for exchange 2007 first which we haven't yet done.
