Hi guys, I got some help before regarding routing a specific number that staff call down a new circuit we have.
The circuit works fine and I can make calls out over doing a direct trunk select and calling 00442070684093, however the SPN ARRN I have created doesn't seem to work. When I make a call and do a trac on my extension it is over the "normal" route.

Here is the config.

SPN 0

SPN 0
FLEN 12
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30
ARRN 2070684093
ARLI 126
SDRR ARRN CODES = 1
ITEI NONE

RLI 126
ENTR 0
LTER NO
ROUT 126
TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON
4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON
VNS NO
CNV NO
EXP NO
FRL 0
DMI 48
FCI 0
FSNI 0
BNE NO
SBOC NRR
IDBB DBD
IOHQ NO
OHQ NO
CBQ NO

ISET 0
NALT 5
MFRL 0
OVLL 0

DMI 48
DEL 1
ISPN NO
INST 0044
CTYP NCHG

So my understading from this is that anyone dialling 9,02070684093 should be sent down route 126 as 00442070684093 ?

But it is instead going down route 91 on rli 30.

i would send that as a dsc not spn/arrn.. the user is dialing 4 digits, then add a 4 digit dsc point to a rlb that picks that route with a frl of 0. that would allow ncos 0 and above access, if 0 is your lowest ncos..

OK bit lost with DSC. How does it route one specific number? I don't want a whole range just a single number?

Should the above SPN/ARRN work though?

Thanks.

The config looks correct however, i think your issue is related to use of SPN 0.

In the UK SPNs 0,00,01,011,411,611,911,800,1800 may react differently than expected. As these numbers have a significance in North America.

The Dialing Plans Reference NTP mentions the use of these certain SPN's.

To fix your issue i think you need to expand your SPN 0, so that SPN 0 is not used. So you will need to delete SPN 0 and created a broken down list of SPN's for 0. (You may want to do this a a quite time or OOH to prevent calls not routing out whilst the list is being programmed).

e.g.

SPN 001
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 002
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 003
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

etc upto SPN 009

then

SPN 01
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 02
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30
ARRN 070684093
ARLI 126
SDRR ARRN CODES = 1
ITEI NONE

etc upto SPN 09

RLI 126 still uses the same DMI as before.

DMI 48
DEL 1
ISPN NO
INST 0044
CTYP NCHG

You should program the FLEN lengths accordingly to allow for international no's etc.

Normally in UK SPN 001-009 FLEN = 15 & SPN 01-09 = FLEN 11.

Config looks correct.

Think the issue is SPN 0.

In the UK SPN's 0,00,01,011,411,611,911,800,1800 may react differently. As these have a significance in North America.

The Dial Plans Reference NTP does mention these certain SPN's.

To fix your issue you should expand your SPN 0.

To do this you need to remove SPN 0 (you may want to do this OOH to prevent outbound SPN 0 calls from being made) and create a broken down SPN 0 table, like below:

SPN 001
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 002
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 003
FLEN 15
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

etc upto SPN 009

Then

SPN 010
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 011
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

SPN 012
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30

etc upto SPN 019

Then

SPN 02
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 30
ARRN 070684093
ARLI 126
SDRR ARRN CODES = 1
ITEI NONE

Then

SPN 03,04,05,06,07,08,09

Keep the same DMI on RLI 126.

Make sure the FLEN's are programmed to allow for international call etc.

Normally in UK SPN 001-009 (FLEN 15) & SPN 01-09 (FLEN 11).

Use the second post as SPN 01 should also be broken down to 010,011,012 etc.

Indeed you were right! Oversight on my part that SPN 02 was already in there!

Added the entried in SPN 02 and all working perfectly!

Thanks again guys!
