SPM software

Having touble connecting to a system with SPM. Transfer to internal modem, modems handshake and I get a connect. After hitting enter I get 3 non alpha ascii crap characters and the systems seems to hang. Any ideas?

Could be wrong speed on YOUR modem.

Could be line trouble.

-OR-

Could be bad modem in the Switch.

I have seen all three over the years.
