Hi: Is there a way that I can have a DID (738-5453) go to a fax machine and also have the extension 453 go to another location as a 3904 set. I am starting to lose my DID's because I use one or the other.

Thanks in advance

yes you can build it as an analog and a digital set, but incoming calls will be answered by the fax, if you have auto answer on. check your data base and make sure phones that don't need to have a did or non did no. guest phones modems that are used outbound only, and that the 2nd line on most phones are non did. with lhk key 0ne can be a non did and still get incoming did calls. read up on mcr usage, sometimes dept numbers can be mcr's saving even more numbers.

You can build an IDC table and point the DID number to the extension that you want. In this caes you would build the DID 453 to go to whatever the Fax extension is. Then the extension 453 for the M3904. When someone calls 453 in house it will hit the 3904 and when some dials the DID number it will hit the fax.
