Splitting a DB

Hi,
When performing the DB splitter, are there any changes that need to be made to the queries to actually point to the Backend db? Under Properties for the table in the query, should the "source" be changed to the directory of the BE db?

I have split a DB and now the queries are running longer.

I was doing an append query to a table that was on the backend and I needed to show in the dialog for the Append that the table was in another data base and give the file location and name of the backend db.
