Hi, I was wondering if this is feasible. On a LPAR (disks virtualized with dual VIOs) I need to mirror a VG and split the mirror. Then I need to remove the hdisks with the splitted copy, remove the mapping from the VIOs and remap this disks to a new LPAR.
Then on this new LPAR I will varyon the VG, mount the filesystems and run the same application with this copy of data.
What I need is a way to have a test lpar, with the same VG, filesystems and data as the existing lpar.
I've been looking at splitlvcopy and splitvg, but I'm not sure if they can do what I need, and the best way to do this.
Does anyone know what would be the best approach?
Thanks
