I am trying to find the function similar to SPLIT to use in a Pervasive view. The SPLIT will act like SUBSTRING and let you choose part of a string, except that you can separate by a delimiter with split, such as all characters up until a space or comma. Can anyone help me?

THere isn't a SPLIT function that I've been able to find..
You might be able to write your own function to do it but performancewise you'd probably be better off parsing the string in your programming language before sending it to the PSQL engine
