Split Phone Number

I have two phone number on one phone model 2008 it a digital line, the number is 2456 2457, it there way I can split those to number to two TN and two separal line.

You can split it anyway you want. build a new set and add the DN to it. You can have single call ring (SCR) or Multi call ring (MCR) depending on what you are actually wanting to do.

fastest way, nul key 1 on the set then do a copy from that set to a new digital tn.. the switch ask for a number after the tn so you can enter 2457.. remember, you have control of every key, cls, station type etc..

I like to get this two number to two 2006 model phone, I think I have ti fine avalible digital TN and move the 2456 to the new TN and delete key on the 2008 and change from 2008 to 2006 phone, do you know which step I should take to do this.

if you are putting these dns on 2 different 2006s, then just build the 2006s with the dns you want on them(2006s can only have one dn assigned to them) then remove the key from the 2008.
If you are replacing the 2008 with a 2006 then do the same and then out the 2008 tn and use the mov command to move the programming from the 2006 to the deleted 2008s tn.

when remove the whole phone and add the number 2457 back to same TN, but when I try to use

but come to key 05 mwk 2399
I am unable to assign this key for voice mail.

if this work out then I will use CPY to copy number 2456 to different TN

can you tell me why is the CPY not take and key 05 mwk 2399 not accept it

You need to tell it how many your require to copy
LD 11 or 20 (Depending on release)
REQ CPY 1 (XX)
TYPE 2008
CFTN (Copy from existing TN)

***Printer etc***
TN (To your new position)
DN Extn Number (Key 0 SCR XXXX)

I guess Key 05 is reserved for specific funtion on 2008

Once you out a TN you can't copy it, you can't copy what not there.

You can't change the type of a phone, you must out it first, then bulid it new.

Just out the 2008 and bulid 2 new 2006 with the DN's you want on them.
