Split Pane - Just in case I missing something?

I have a Browse (C6.1 ABC) with the Browse List on the top half of the Browse window and I have the selected records Notes being displayed in an area about the same size as the Browse List on the botton half of the window.

The whole window is resizable but it would be nice to be able to vertically resize just the 'Browse List' and 'Notes' sections individually so when one increases the other reduces. I beleive this is know as a split pane.

Is this possible?
