thread702-1408727 - Did anyone answer the question on why the error message (the value you entered isn't valid for the field 'ID') appears in a split form when trying to filter on the data sheet view. I have the same issue with my database and cannot find an answer anywhere.

If you want help in your scenario, provide as much detail as you can from your specific scenario.

For instance, the other post mentions tabs. Do you use tabs? Do you use subforms? How is the data pulled in? 2 different tables, 2 references to the same table, what? Any code running on the form when the error occurs? What triggers the error?

Be as specific as you can with your questions, or else it leaves everyone else guessing as to what the real problem is, and therefore guessing at a solution.

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57
