Hi,

I have alot of tiff images that have 4-up pages on a black background. It looks like a film chip that was scanned with the black frame, and as many as 4 pieces of paper layed on the black frame. Is there a simple way for me to draw masks around each of the pages and then hit a crop button to split the pages into 4 separate layers, and then save those 4 layers out as new tiff images. Any help..

Hi,
I would use the Rectangular Marquee tool to select each image and copy it, then go to File>New> and a new window will open up. Make sure your correct colour pallete and resolution are correct in the new file window. Then Paste the image into the window. You can then flatten it and save it as a new Tiff image. Keep doing that for all 4 images.
