Hi All,
We have a customer who wants us to pull back about 40m of BT fibre on their site. The fibre is currently in one comms room but they want to pull it back and re-use it in another comms room. It is not possible to leave it connected in the tray while it is pulled back. We have a Fujikura 60s which is capable of splicing SM and MM fibre. All we need to do is cut the end off with enough on it to then re splice when it is in the correct location. Is BT fibre Single Mode? I have looked time and time again on these fibre cables and there's never anything on them to ID them. Is this a task any of you have done? We've installed and splice high volume of cables that we have supplied but never a BT one.
Regards
Mark
