Spirit 308 - Won't Tone Dial - Only Pulse

I have a client with a Spirit 308 - The system suddenly stopped dialing with tones and reverted back to pulse.
I have done the admin feature 7 thing to change it - but the system does not seem to want to take the command. It will only dial pulse.

Any suggestions?
Did the tone generator burn out??

If it still dials pulses instead of tones even though you verified programming, I'd try resetting the system to defaults and then reprogram. Failing that you'll need another control unit.
