Hello there,

I've made an odbc-connection in Excel-VBA to get information from a teradata-datawarehouse. I fill the sheet with the recordset that i am getting back from ADO. Everything works fine, but i have know idea how it's possible that on some machine the xls-sheet is much quicker filled than on the other machine. The odbc driver on both machines are similar. Does somebody know how this is possible?

There are a variety of reasons:
NIC, memory, processor speed, excel version and SP, OS, ETC.
