Spellchecker keeps turning itself off.

The spellchecker appears to have got a mind of its own and keeps putting the check box in the 'Language' dialog box to 'Do not spell check'. No matter how many times I go back in and clear the checkbox and set the default it keeps happening.

This is really frustrating as the only time I find out it has happened is when a blatant mistake appears. I don't have the time to methodically go through all my work and this is really eating into my time.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
