HI
I don't know if I am in the right forum maybe after reading this you might think I'm crazy and shouldn't be in any forum
My question is
I prefer to use the standard 'wordpad' rather than Microsoft word basically because it is quicker and I can live without all the fancy formatting and other niceties that word provides BUT I do need a spell checker :-(
Is it at all possible to incorporate the spell checker from Microsoft word and use it in 'notepad' ??
I know I could probably download a spell checking program but if there is a way of using what is already on my humble computer then I would rather do that

look forward to your reply

No. Sorry. You can't. Besides, first you say Wordpad, then you say Notepad. You're right. You're crazy! Haha! Just kidding, but I think I've got an answer for you.

Open Word. Go to Tools-Autocorrect and click on the Autoformat as you type tab.

Take all the checkmarks off. This may ease your use of Word. It does too many things automatically and this shuts them all off (mostly). Check the Autocorrect tab too, to see if it is doing anything in there you don't like and deselect that too.
