Spell Check Greyed Out

I have a user who does not have the option for Spell Check - it is greyed out. GW 5.5 on Win.XPPro. I have uninstalled. Cleaned with Agent, reinstalled, to on avail. It is specific to the PC not the user. Any HELP! Thank you!

Does the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\Spell Checker exist?

I have had this exact problem and I was able to fix it with a registry modification. I had a Novell TID describing the fix but I cannot locate it at this time. I will try to find it and post it tomorrow.

I found the TID you are talking about. While the GWCleaning Agent removes Registry entries, it did NOT completely clean it. I had to do a search in the Registry and remove all references to GroupWise. Reinstalled GroupWise and all is working. Thank you for your reply.

Just for my own information, when you say you used the "GWCleaning Agent. Which removal utility was it? I ask because I have never had a bad or inclomplete removal, nor have I had to manually go into the registry and delete any entries after using CleanIt 2.0. Just curious.

GWClean 5.5US. And you're right. This is only the second time I have experienced problems with it at all. This particular user had everything under the sun loaded on his laptop. So who knows. Thanks
