Spell Check Form Field 1

I have a Microsoft form that allows a user to enter in data in the form fields. After entry I then unprotect the document and run spell check. The spell check is not checking the data within the form fields. Is it possible to spell check form fields in Microsoft Word. I am using Word 97 but have 2000 available if needed.

Make sure the form fields are set to BE spell-checked.

Easiest:

Ctrl+A
Tools-Language-Set language
Choose a language
Make sure "no proofing" is NOT checked...
