Speeding up reports

CAn anyone tell me why do some reports take forever to process? WHat can be done to speed it up?

There could be several factors. I'm afraid you will have to be more specific. Are the reports in question based on a query that takes time to run? Are there calculations that take time to run?

Yes there are calculations and queries. Lots of calculations.

Do all the reports that open slow have "lots of calculations" or do they all and only some open slow?

Does the query Recordsource of the report take a long time to view all records? Are you using Page of Pages in a page header or footer?

Do your calculations use domain aggregate functions like DLookup() or DCount()?
