Speeding up Lotus Notes Notification

Is there a way to make Lotus notify you faster of mail? I tried changing the notification but all it does is put it in the mail file faster and then it notifies you. Thanks.

What delay have you put in your Mail Preferences settings ?

If you are talking about the User Preferences amil and news that is set at 10.
