Speed of Card

Hi all,
I have TSW05.I got a problems that MXONE always alarm lost packet. We checked cable, switch...On Switch we found have error packet, and CRC.
did you get problem like that?
P/S: Before on switch we set Auto Speed,but it had a lot of error packet,recent time we change it to 10Mbs Full Duplex and still have issue.
So could you please tell me about the speed of interface IPLU, NIU ?

IPLU can do 100Mb Full Duplex
NIU can only do 10Mb HALF Duplex

So after change Speed on Switch, do I need config on NIU card or restart card?

Hi Whosrdaddy,
I have a confuse, with Half Duplex 10Mbps, will issue overload if traffic over NIU card too much?? we intend to increase Call Center Agent to over 100? or I need to buy something else?

If you have only one NIU, it is better to have your CSTA link on a separate NIU. So buying a second NIU is maybe an option.

regarding NIU traffic, try to configure your network so that the NIU does not receive broadcasts and unrelated network traffic. The NIU board is known to block when faced with a high network traffic load.

I have 2 NIU already, I just config on OAS ecare link to one NIU, about second new when I add in OAS and remove first NIU (remove just for test). I can't work properly such as when I log on Desktop Manager it shows : " Can't monitor Private Line" and DM shut down.
Do I need some configure? if is convenient for you. I'm really need help about this

As I show, we didn't configure second NIU on MXONE? how can I do it? I don't know a lot about MXONE

Reply to your mail concerning this issue:

If you have your call centre - here Solidus Ecare - spread over more LIMs I would suggest that a NIU board was installed in the LIMs with CC agents.

We have some call centres, where NIU boards are installed in all LIMs where agent are placed.

In that way we can load balance on the LAN.
NIU will only run 10MB half duplex.
Check the firmware on the NIU by:
CNBIP:BPOS= niu equ position;
