I am running a VB program created with VB 6.0 sp3 and I am accessing a database in SQL 7.0. When I run it on my PC it runs fine. When I run it from most other PCs it runs fine, but one in particular runs slow. I am executing a query and populating a MSHFlexgrid with the data. I have tried running my program from a laptop hooked into the same network drop as the PC that runs it slow and the laptop runs the program fine. The laptop is 300MHz PII with 64MB RAM. The PC is 350MHz PII 128 MB RAM. Both have plenty of Disk space. What could cause the application to run fine on the laptop and slow on the PC. The difference in speed is 3 to 4 seconds on the laptop and 30 seconds or longer on the PC. [sig][/sig]
