Speed, Netware and MS Clients

On those of our Windows XP clients that need to have both the Netware Client (most run 4.91 and the server runs only IP, no IPX) and the client for Microsoft Network & File/Printer Sharing installed, we experience speed problems. It is a lot slower browsing the Netware folders on those machines that the machines that do not run the MS Clients.
Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?
