Speed Dial (System) 1

We're using "Translation Pettern" for system speed dial (we have over 500 speed dial #). Is there a way to put an extension number after phone number in "Called Party Transform Mask"? (pause ,,, or somthing?)
What I am trying is speed dial number #112 would dial 9,areacode,xxxxxxx then department extension number xxxx.

No you cannot. Pause is not an option in translation patterns or a speed dial.
It has been a feature request to CISCO since the 3.x times but still has not been implemented.
There is no workaround either.

make a CTI route point and point the number to a voice mail box. then either use a call handler to tranfer the number or use caller input to zero out to the number.

We don't have voice mail connected to call manager. I am new to this coming from Nortel Option 11. You got me hopes up now. Please help if if there is any other way.
