We have set up a call box at the door so that when UPS shows up they press it so they can have someone press a button and give them access to the suite. It has been asked if we can add a button (soft key or programmable button on side) that they can push and sends the DTMF tones to unlock the door.

Has anyone attempted this or know of a way do this? That is.. if it's even possible...

Would a speed dial key work?
UPS calls and asks for entry access. User says OK and hungs up the phone or puts UPS driver on hold. Then he/she presses the speed dial key that unlocks the door. UPS hears the door release and opens door.

The entry access is set up like;

Door Box -> Toshiba Controller -> FXO port on Router -> CCM via h323 -> Dials hunt group extension

It dials the extension which is really a hunt group so that certain people can open the door. You have to stay on the line for the digits to be inputed so that the door lock is released. It listens for the DTMF tones.
