Is it possible to add a speed dial number to the list of extensions in a Pool..

or something that could do the same, such as transfering a pool extension to a speed dial number

our office has picked up another office across the country where the support will be handled

Trunks are in Pools and not extensions. You could turn on remote forward for a extension that is permantly forwarded to the offsite premice then transfer calls to the extension or you could turn on trunk to trunk transfer for each extension then simply thransfer the call directly to the off premise site.

Sounds like you may need a redesign. If both sites have merlin then you could set purchase a point to point T1 between the two site and provision both for merlin network. Then you could transfer calls directly to the extension of the other site. Plus you could dia each other directly.

Or if there is a particular DID number involved then you could have the CO remote call forward the calls.

Choose your cost and poision.

the other office is using cisco voip.. we will be switching...eventually.. god knows when.. they don't plan to give me any money to get this project accomplished Ugh

So what are you trying to accomplish? Just transfer callers to an outside number? What kind of trunks do you have, PRI or POTS (perhaps Centrex)? Legend or Magix? What release?
