Is there a way to stop the handsets displaying the speed dialled number?

e.g. you dial 1234 the speed dial dialls 5678 - I want it to show 1234 NOT 5678.

most Mitel switches if you designate the speed call number whether system or on a set as "private" the number will not be displayed.

Yes - but it specifically excludes system speedcalls

You won't have sufficient resources to make this idea practical, but what happens if you use the Digit Mod in the ARS tables to accomplish the same thing? What gets displayed? There's even a CLOS option to deal with the Digit Mod.

I agree, sometimes we build tricks into our System Speed Call table that would be better off unseen.

What happens if you name the speedcall via TEL DIR?

You might be able to enable privacy in the TEL DIR as well.

'Fraid not - tried everything I can think of. Now I've gone to Mitel for a DCR - they've said that Canata are working on it today
