Speed Dial Conflict Between Two Users?

We have an Option 11C. One of my users (Mary) is having a problem with her programmable speed dial numbers. She claims that after programming them on her phone, a few days later they are changed to other numbers. I then discovered that someone else's (John) speed dials must be somehow tied into Mary's. How do I check and correct this?

Thanks,
-Tom in PA

Hi,
John and Mary's extensions are probably adressing the same speed calll list. Usualy when making new extensions the most easy way is to make a copy of another extension.
That means that you also get a key wich points to the same speedcall list in the switch as the original set, if that isn't changed.
So get a printout of the two extensions and see if you can find a key on both sets that has the SCC feature programed. The number after that is ths speedcall listnumber.
For example:
key 5 SCC 0010
Points to speedcall list 10. These has to be specific for each extension..

To find an unused speed call list - Go to LD 81
Req: LST
FEAT: SCC
LSNO: <-- enter a range like 1 99, this will list all assigned speed call lists between 1 and 99

look for a break in the numbers listed and then print that list in LD 20, PRT/SCL to verify that it is programmed.
Then assign this list to one of the users that have the same list.

To find an unused speed call list - Go to LD 81
Req: LST
FEAT: (Just hit enter)
LSNO: (Just hit enter) this will list all speed call users
and controllers, this way you can check to see if there is a list that is not being used. there may not be a SCC on one number but there may be a SCU so make sure you use one that is not being used by either.

Thank you so much! I will give these a shot and let you know how I make out.

-Tom
