Interesting one here, guys ...

Does anyone know how to reduce the admin overhead relating to speed-dial. We presently make changes to all of our PBXes individually, and this is a nightmare at World-wide level.

There is the possibility of getting a long distance on-net carrier to do this, but then again, our current global standard PTT is very unreliable so I do not trust them.

It would be nice to have a server on which changes could be made. Somehow the Definity PBXes worldwide would referance this server for speed-dial lists, or would be fed by it.

This is just a dream. Anyone know if it's possible.

Of course, going one step further, LDAP integration would be even more desirable.

Hmm,
Definity R9 allows for the 'definity directory gateway' - and this is LDAP compatible. Any changes made at one 'node' will be applied globally.
