All,
We have a cust with Modular Messaging 4.0 MSS. They are implementing a S3500 One X Speech Server. Will the connection to the Pbx from the MM just be disabled? It is T1 integration.
Does the MM need to have any changes made to run with a Speech Server?

Thanks,

Sorry, I don't know UCC and after looking at the documents on the web, it does look alot like One-x Speech. But I don't see any documents that talk about MM and one-x together. The only thing I found were diagrams with the one-x connecting to the pbx and the MM being on the customers lan. So I still don't know what to do with the T1 cards in the MM and the translations built for it in the switch.
thanks,

The one-x is separate from the MM. Do you mean to say you do not know what to do with the T-1 in the MM or the one x system?

Each will need to be connected to the PBX. The MM and the one x are 2 different systems altogether that talk to each other but you do not need one for the other to work.

Don't know how else to say it. If you are expected to install it i would think you would be sent to school on it or they should hire a company that has done it before.
