well if you need signal power meter it will do it for you, if you are looking for swr metter, you can still get by your own programming or if you have device which its driver shows detail you may get it by following statistics
Transmit/Receive frames:
Beacon received
Frames retried
Frames dropped
Received OK
Received with errors (CRC)
Duplicate frames
CTS Frames
however it won't be very accurate, and as everybody knows best hardware analyzers from HP and above 5000 USD you must pay for.
This thread below has good information, if you want to try a pc-based approach (read: $40 instead of thousands). I use the proxim solution: it's slower (a good scan of the spectrum takes about 10-20 secs) but no price comparison.
