spectralink phones not working

I have recently installed spectralink phones. After upgrading to release 7.1, the phones stopped working. The phones display SKT Fail to Open. I have gone throught the documentation and the error means that the phones can't contact the controller. It's a 3300MX, using Cisco 1200 APs. spectralink e340 phones. SVP server latest software.

Funny thing is right after the upgrade the phones still worked. A few days went by and no they don't work. Nothing else has changed.

ok,,,solved this. I had a gateway on the SVP server that was set to point to the 3300. changed this and all worked. shouldn't have made a difference in my mind but hey that's all I changed and it worked
