I am having a problem with a SpectraLink OAI Gateway.
I'm getting a lost heartbeat error. If the error isn't cleared in time the box will lock up and I can't access it. I have to power it down. Then it will work again.
I have an Avaya 8800 switch. I am getting pages from a Rauland Responder 4 nursecall system running RNET. The pages are being sent via an EMERGIN software package on a dedicated server.
I have swapped out the Gateway with brand new one with no change.Of course all the other vendors involved pointed to the OAI server but now that it's been swapped out I don't think so. This has been up and running for over a couple of year's and now all the sudden it is having issues with the upgrade to a new Emergin and Nurse Call server. I am having trouble finding good documentation on exactly how this heartbeat is sent and how often, which port etc. Without this information not sure how to troubleshoot the issue, or help other vendors troubleshoot on their end without just pointing the finger at them. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If so, what was the resolution? Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thx
